We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry. We do not sell personal data, and this website runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Who we are
Cornerz ("we", "us") is a software house at 3 Makram Ebid St, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. We are responsible for personal data collected through cornerz.io. Reach us at ashraf@cornerz.io.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and message.
- Technical details sent with the form: your IP address, browser user agent and the time of submission. We use these to block spam and abuse.
- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to share when you contact us directly.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may record standard request data, such as IP address and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send you one automatic confirmation that we received it.
- To prepare proposals and manage a business relationship if you go on to work with us.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse, including limiting how many messages one connection can send.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not send newsletters from the contact form. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legal obligations.
Who handles your data
Our hosting and email provider, Hostinger, stores and delivers form submissions for us. We may also share data with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We never sell personal data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Spam-protection records store a hashed form of your IP address instead of the address itself.
International transfers
We are based in Egypt and serve clients in other regions, and our providers may process data in other countries. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR or Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive a copy of it. To make a request, email ashraf@cornerz.io. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and stored submissions are blocked from public access. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive data through the form.
Client projects and other products
Data we process inside client projects or our products (Retail Hub, Mijra, Neval and Elite) is governed by the agreement with that client. The Blinders browser extension has its own privacy policy.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
